Dear readers,
Because of the significant success of 2R and in order to get through with the long list of book reviews already assigned or about to be published, the editorial board will not assign new book reviews until further notice.
The Editorial Board of 2R

2R - The Journal of Philosophical Reviews is a high-profile ISSN on-line journal. 2R is entirely dedicated to the discussion of the most influential philosophical books published both in Italy and internationally. Its scientific committee guarantees the quality of the books selected and of the reviews published.

Proposal for reviews are carefully selected, giving priority to philosophical texts of significant impact on the
contemporary debate. It is our policy not to review translations of foreign books.

Proposals for book reviews or for other special issues and communications should be directed to the managing editor, Federica Russo (recensioni@swif.it).

Special Numbers

Adopting the same critical and analytic style of 2R, a special number, 2R-Scienze (2R-Science) has been published once a year, in autumn.

2R-Scienze is dedicated to scientific popularizations, introductions and essays. It can be interesting for the philosophically oriented public as well as for readers interested in science. The reviewers have been selected among science writers, philosophers of science and scientists, in order to guarantee a critical and objective evaluation of the reviewed books.
